In 2010 we decided that there was a need for pony saddles designed in a slightly different way to give our customers more choice.

The Native Pony Saddles are still as when they were originally designed so we then designed a new range reflecting what we thought was needed.

  • The Tor Saddle general purpose saddle was designed based on what custom saddles customers were ordering when buying our Mountain and Moorland Saddle.

    Now proving as popular it has a narrower twist, a deeper seat with a round cantle and velcro knee rolls as standard.

  • The Tavy general purpose saddle was designed based on custom pony club saddles we had made with a twist.

    With a modern look including deep seat, padded skirt over the stirrup bars and a narrower twist its a comfortable, supportive saddle for children and small adults .

First Saddle

  • The First saddle was designed to be a child’s first saddle , hence the name .

    it is designed with an overshot cantle as standard, for example a 13” footprint on the ponies back will have a 14” seat as children grow so quickly. the panel is shorter than our tavy and pony club saddles but has velcro knee and thigh rolls which together with the suede catch wobbly legs to help avoid falls.
